no 和 not “媲美”： no可作为形容词，也可用作副词；not只可用作副词。no用作形容词时，可直接置于名词前。如果名词前已有a, an, the, his, much, any等词时，则应该在这些词前面加not。如：
There are no apples in the boxes. 这些盒子里没有苹果。(作形容词)
—Do you like dancing?你喜欢跳舞吗？
—No, I don't. 不，我不喜欢。(作副词)
It's a duck, not a chicken. 它是只鸭子，不是小鸡。(作副词)
